We know the internet is a big place, so we've found some of the best websites where you can have fun, learn new things, and discover stories about all kinds of kids—especially those who are a little different, just like you! Whether you want to play a game, learn something cool, or watch an awesome video, you'll find something here.

Have Fun & Learn New Things

KidsHealth.org (NZ)
Your body and brain are amazing! This site has heaps of easy-to-understand info about your health, your feelings, and what makes you, YOU. It's a great place to find answers.

The Understood.org
(International, but awesome!) This website is packed with tools and videos to help you understand how your brain works best. If you sometimes find school or friends tricky, this place can make you feel smart and capable.

Watch, Listen, and Feel Inspired

Attitude Lives

The Sparkle Squad
Meet the Sparkle Squad! This is a cool YouTube channel from here in NZ with fun videos, stories, and songs that celebrate all children, including those with disabilities.
(Note: You may want to find a specific NZ-based YouTube channel for kids with disabilities, as "The Sparkle Squad" is a placeholder example)

Read & Listen to Stories

Bookshare
If you find reading standard books tricky, Bookshare is an amazing online library with heaps of books that can be read aloud to you, or shown in large print or braille. (Your parent or teacher might need to help you sign up).
