About Inclusive World NZ
A World Where Everyone Belongs
At Inclusive World NZ, we believe that every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and included—no exceptions. We create inclusive stories and educational resources that help children, families, and schools understand and celebrate disability as a natural and important part of human diversity. Inclusive World Library
Inclusive World NZ is part of the Children with Disability NZ charity (registered in Aotearoa New Zealand: CC59148). Our work is grounded in lived experience and a lifelong commitment to inclusion.
Our Why: Changing the Story
Disability is still too often misunderstood, excluded, or only portrayed through limitation. Children grow up without seeing disability reflected in the stories they read, the classrooms they learn in, or the media they consume. This lack of representation shapes attitudes—and limits possibility.
We exist to change that.
We believe:
-
Seeing is believing: When children see stories that reflect real lives, they learn empathy and understanding.
-
Stories change minds: Inclusive books and resources have the power to reshape how children think and feel about disability.
-
Inclusion begins in childhood: The earlier we teach diversity, the more natural inclusion becomes. Inclusive World Library
